It all began for me at the age or nine when I started kicking balls and dancing my life into fitness. Fitness became a way of life for me when I was sixteen after I suffered a neck injury from dancing. Using weight training as a way to rehabilitate myself, I quickly fell in love with it. At 19, I began my journey with fitness as a career when I moved to Seattle, Washington. There I completed a Sports Science and Human Performance program at the University of Washington while I also worked at X-Gym.
In 2009, I moved here to San Francisco. Shortly after arriving, I was hired at BodyFi and made its Founding Manager. While there, I quickly helped expand BodyFi's client base and helped the company grow so successfully that it was able to expand and move to a new, larger location within the city's financial district. Beyond the work I do for my business, I have used my talents as a personal trainer and my enthusiasm for fitness to support our community. I started "Boot Camp for a Cause." Through these events, I've helped raise money and awareness for the fight against HIV/AIDS, including raising money for the AIDS/LifeCyle and AIDS Walk SF.
All right, time for me to shut up and it's time for you to come and start your WERKout!
As I always say, "Shut up and WERKout!"
